The Department of Sociology organized a seminar on “Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and Women Empowerment in Pakistan”. Dr. Nasim Khan Mahsud, Assistant Professor of Sociology at AIOU, was the speaker who explained and linked SDGs with women empowerment. She highlighted the key factors in the way of achieving SDGS, particularly, SDG 4 & 5 which are central to women empowerment.  Students and faculty from various departments were in attendance.  Dr. Raza Ullah, In-charge Sociology Department, extended gratitude to Dr. Nasim Khan Mahsud.
