Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) and SOS Foundation to advance literacy and educational opportunities. The MoU was signed at NCHD Headquarters by Ms. Huma Fawad, Registrar of RWU, Mr. Nasir-ud-Din Mashood Ahmed Mirza, DG NCHD, and Mr. Abdus Salam, Director, SOS Foundation.

This partnership focuses on expanding the “Each One Teaches One” (EOTO) initiative, aimed at enrolling illiterate individuals in essential education programs. The collaboration emphasizes the collective dedication of RWU, NCHD, and SOS Foundation to increase literacy rates, empower marginalized communities, and strengthen societal bonds. Together, these institutions are committed to bridging educational gaps and contributing to a more inclusive society.

During the visit, Ms. Huma Fawad also toured the NCHD library and expressed her appreciation for the valuable resources available there.
