Overview​
The Office of the Treasurer is established under article 18 of the Rawalpindi Women University Act, 2019 dated 13 December 2019. This office has to ensure that all transactions adhere to University policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles, and rules established by the authoritative governing bodies.
Vision & Responsibilities​
Office of the Treasurer endeavor to provide accurate financial information throughout the University with a great deal of integrity and reliability. The ultimate responsibility of this office is:- to manage the assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditures, grants, funds and investment of the University including opening, maintaining and closing of bank accounts for various purposes.
- to prepare the annual and revised budget estimates of Development & Non-Development budget and get approval from Syndicate through F&P Committee. After its approval implement the budget and submit utilization to the HED & HEC respectively.
- to provide advisory services to the Vice Chancellor and other officers of the University on matters relating to finance and accounts, to make and / or arrange payments within the amount sanctioned by the concerned Competent Authority.
- to determine mode and time of payments and transfer of funds, to call the Finance & Planning Committee (F&PC) for considering annual statement of accounts and revised Budget Estimates and advice the Board, thereon review periodically the financial positions of the University.
- to advise the Syndicate on all matters relating to planning, development, finance, investment and accounts of the University.
- to Prepare short term and long term development plan, resources development plans and to perform such other functions as may be prescribed by the statutes.

I am proud to be the head of Zoology department which is one of the most active departments of the University. The department has all doctorate faculty having specialty in apiculture, endocrinology, reproductive physiology, animal physiology, fisheries and aquaculture. The department has well equipped labs for graduate, post graduate, doctorate and post doc level studies. The department has established collaboration with international universities and institutes for students exchange program and scholarships and expansion of research facilities. The department has facility of aviary too. The degrees of BS Zoology, BS honors and M Phil are currently being offered by the department and soon PhD degree will be launched.Services​
The role of an examination office is more like a guardian of a student, ensuring complete systematic records and facilitating trustworthy support and service. This all is done to prevent results from being unproductive or unfair. The Controller of Examinations shall be responsible for the conduct of all examinations of the university and it shall be his/her duty to arrange for preparation, scheduling, conduct of examinations of the university and all other contingent matters connected with examinations. The Controller of Examinations in the execution of his/her office and shall report to the Vice Chancellor periodically on the performance of his/her duties. The Controller of Examination should take earnest efforts to see that all examinations are conducted as per the schedule mentioned in the academic calendar. Examinations are based on semester pattern.
