The Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) through its External Linkages Department, in collaboration with Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness (SFEA), organized a capacity enhancement session at RWU on November 3, 2022, for its faculty members. The session was about Women in Learning and Leadership through fostering Critical Thinking and Entrepreneurial Skills in Young Women for Gender Inclusive Socioeconomic Development and it covered the modules of Critical Thinking (Along with Critical Thinking Circle initiative), Social Inclusion and Gender, Peace Building, Gender Equality and Conflict Resolution. 30 female faculty members from 15 different departments of RWU attended the session which will further lead towards the training session of 100 students from the University to foster the same skills. Post training evaluation will be done through Design Idea Competition. A Critical Thinking Circle will also be established at RWU for developing our young women professionally and academically for a bigger perspective of gender inclusive socioeconomic development.
